We are pleased to announce an upcoming effort which will provide pro bono services to victims of the war. The FACE TO FACE Ukrainian Medical Mission is being planned for September 2022, whereby a team of American facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons and staff will provide medical services to individuals who have incurred head, face and neck injuries.

This is a humanitarian effort is being coordinated in cooperation with The Educational and Research Foundation for the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and organisations Razom for Ukraine and INgenius.

American doctors, together with Ukrainian colleagues, will select patients for reconstructive surgery on the face and neck. For patients who are selected to participate in the project, the surgery and stay in the clinic will be free. Surgical treatment will take place in Ivano-Frankivsk.

If you have a patient or are a potential patient with injuries to the head, face and/or neck, contact face2ukraine@gmail.com (or you can contact us via Telegram/Viber +380 50 574 9660 - Ihor) to obtain information for how to submit your case for consideration (inclusive of a required, signed Patient Release Form to commence the review process). The case will be reviewed, inclusive of required/submitted  personnel data (name, date of birth), brief medical history, previous surgery, scanned copies of statements (if available), and photos. Once this information is received and reviewed you will be informed if the individual accepted as a confirmed candidate for these services—and, if so, you will also be informed about the date and approximate time for the surgery.
